Her curiosity also helped shape what Pepperidge Farm would become, including the discovery of a little fish-shaped cracker from Switzerland that she believed American families would love. That little fish became Goldfish® crackers, introduced to the U.S. by Pepperidge Farm in 1962.
That same spirit continues today: a playful snack rooted in the same care and quality that Margaret believed in from the very beginning.
Over the years, Goldfish® has grown from one little fish-shaped cracker into a full lineup of flavors, colors, formats and favorites. This growth has seen Goldfish travel into space aboard the Space Shuttle Discovery in 1988. But even as Goldfish® has grown, the heart of the brand has stayed the same.
